February always means a trek to the middle of Wisconsin to Visit Nanny at the Veteran's Home in King. She really appreciates it and we always enjoy the visit, but the weather is always a challenge and this year was no different.
After a long morning drive in the frozen fog in Iowa and Minnesota, we stopped at a rest stop in Wisconsin.I love taking winter photos, because of the different types of scenery it affords.
The sky had cleared as we were leaving and a snowy wonderland was there to behold.
But taking this trip with my favorite photographer really made it special.
