Day 11- Long Boy

My Grandfather was Lawrence Koss. He worked as a salesman, but at heart, he was always a musician.

He was part of and started several bands. He played the xylophone, piano, harp and drums. Many years ago my parents were going through a trunk with his WWI uniforms in it and found a drum head. It had been signed by the members of his infantry unit. It hung in their home for years, and now in mine. There are many names on it with the names of cities and girlfriends. Whoever Long Boy was, he was sure proud of it.

Why have I never taken the time to read that drum? So cool!
