The Bizzar Cattle Crossing over I-35 in the middle of The Flint Hills is a great place to see how quickly the prairie recovers each spring after the spring burn. It is amazing how fast the hills turn from black to green after the fires are gone. It is only a week from the time they burn the south side of I-35 until they burn the north side. The picture goes from desolation to looking like the hills of Ireland.
