Summer's last hurrah. . .

September 6th is about as late as Labor Day can get, but with almost three full weeks to go before it is officially Autumn, it is really too much to expect that the weather will change. This summer has been one of the hottest in most peoples memory in Wichita. With a good four to five week of temps in the high 90's and low 100's I would have to agree.

Still, Labor Day is traditionally considered to be the last hurrah of summer, the kids have been in school for two weeks and I am really ready for some signs of fall.

While wandering the city parks for photo opportunities, I had a feeling that the fountain at Riverside Park would have some kids in it. They did not disappoint...

Sam would have a blast in those fountains! Great shots!
